Hey y’all! I’m April and I have a fierce passion for photography. So much so it took me eight and half years to transition from hobby to business. I guess you could call me a procrastinator. Or a perfectionist. I’m also a military wife and a standup comedienne. At least I think my kiddos laugh at most of my jokes. In all seriousness, I strive to make your experience a fun one! Sometimes getting your picture taken can be awkward, but I promise to guide you through the process as flawlessly as possible. Since I am actually a military wife, Navy to be exact, I also have a slight obsession with anchors. I’m also anchored to my husband, so I go where the Navy sends us. And since we are away from our home state of North Carolina, I thought it was fitting to name this new adventure (and big dream) of mine Anchored Away Photography.
